Create short activities to teach mindfulness at your school
Requirements
• The activities interest and engage community members
• They provide a way to build daily mindfulness practice
• They don’t negatively impact the learning and environment
• They have long term learning benefits and can be sustained over a long period
• Encourage buy-in from the school community
Parameters
• They must be able to be easily run taught and can be adopted by any group
• The activities must be no longer than 15 minutes each
• They must be based on research and be proven to have positive benefits
• Only use the tools and materials available to you
• The activities must be published and accessible for others
• Record your thinking as you go- your research, design notes and reflections on the activity
