Requirements

• The design helps develop or teach the concept of mindfulness

• It doesn’t currently exist

• It could be easily used in the classroom

• It doesn’t negatively impact the learning environment

• It has long term benefits


Parameters

• It needs to be easy to use and durable

• It needs to be small scale and inexpensive

• It must be based on research and be proven to have positive benefits

• It needs to look appealing to its target audience

• Only use the tools and materials available to you

• Record your thinking as you go- your research, design notes and reflections on the activity
